Dental Veneers Rouse Hill

porcelain composite dental veneers rouse hill

We are experts in creating beautiful, natural smiles with dental veneers in Rouse Hill.

Dental veneers are custom, wafer-thin restorations that are bonded over your front teeth to improve your their shape, colour, size and alignment. They can be made from either porcelain or a resin composite. Rather than a crown that covers the entire tooth, veneers only mask the part that’s visible when you smile which means that multiple veneers side by side can make your smile look whiter, fuller, straighter and more symmetrical.

At The Grove Dental Rouse Hill, we work closely with you to understand your aesthetic goals and design the smile you have always wanted. Generally, veneers are the perfect solution for people wanting to improve the appearance of:

  • Discoloured teeth
  • Stains from antibiotics or other drugs, excessive fluoride, or the presence of large resin fillings
  • Worn down, chipped, or broken teeth
  • Misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped teeth
  • Teeth with unsightly gaps between them

BENEFITS OF DENTAL VENEERS

  • They look and feel natural – At The Grove Dental, we design natural veneers that blend seemlessly with your facial and smile aesthetics. Our veneers do not look fake or bulky.

  • Dental veneers can increase confidence in your smile – If you have been hesitant to show your teeth when you smile, a smile transformation can be life-changing. Veneers can dramatically improve your self-confidence.

  • Veneers resist staining better than natural enamel – Porcelain veneers are resistant to staining as they are non-porous and will maintain their appearance for a long time. Think of veneers as a permanent teeth whitening option!

  • Veneers can correct minor misalignment issues – Minor alignment issues can be corrected realtively quickly with porclein veneers without the need for lengthy orthodontic treatment

  • Getting veneers is a minimally invasive procedure – Getting dental veneers is a less invasive procedure than other restorative options. The procedure can be done comfortably in the dental chair.

  • Veneers can provide a quick cosmetic fix – If you are unhappy with the appearance of your teeth, veneers can provide a quick cosmetic enhancement that is life-changing. Chipped teeth, missing teeth, gaps between teeth, misshapen teeth or stained/discoloured teeth can all be fixed with veneers.

  • Veneers are permanent and durable – With proper maintanence, a dental veneer may be able to last between 5-7 years (composite resin) or between 10-15 years (porcelain)

So, how do I get started?

CONSULTATION

During your initial consultation, we will take the time to listen to your concerns and will undertake a comprehensive evaluation of your smile. We will start designing your dream smile, and can do a trial smile to help you visualise the end result before we even begin treatment! There is a lot of care and precision that goes into getting the shape, colour and size of your veneers perfect so that it matches and compliments your remaining teeth and facial structure.

TREATMENT PROCESS

Composite veneers can be designed & hand-layered in a single visist. Porcelain veneers are completed over two appointments – at the first we will shape your teeth to prepare them for veneers – this is very minimal. Impressions are taken and a set of temporary veneers will be fitted. You will wear your temporary teeth while your new veneers are handcrafted by our master ceramist.  At the second appointment, the temporary teeth will be removed and your beautiful new veneers will be tried in to ensure you and your dentist are happy with the final result before final cementation. You’ll leave with your amazing, brand new smile!

SMILE CONFIDENTLY AGAIN!

Enjoy the confidence of a brand new smile! We’ll review your smile two weeks after placement to ensure everything looks good. Long term oral hygiene maintanence (dental cleans every six months!) is necessary to ensure your veneers and gums stay looking their best.

Let’s answer some frequently asked questions about dental veneers…

How much do veneers cost?2023-09-05T14:55:50+10:00

The cost of porcelain and composite veneers will vary depending on the number of veneers required. We have interest-free packages available where you can get porcelain veneers for as little as $60/week. We would be able to provide you with an exact quote after your initial consultation.

How long does it take to get veneers?2023-09-05T15:11:09+10:00

Dental veneers will generally require at least two appointments. For composite veneers, they can be applied in a single appointment with a review appointment approximately 2 weeks after placement. Porcelain veneers are made in a lab by our master ceramist so there is a preparation appointment, followed by a cementation appointment three weeks later when the veneers are ready. You’ll wear a set of temporary teeth between these two appointments that is based on the design of the final veneers.

Can I see what my veneers will look like before they go in?2023-09-05T15:11:25+10:00

Your new smile will be digitally designed by our one of our cosmetic dentists, and we’ll be able to show you a digital mockup of how it will look. You can also test out your new veneers before commencing treatment by doing a trial smile (which uses a temporary material over your teeth to imitate the design we’ve created for you).  This way you can make any tweaks to the size or shape of the teeth before the final veneers are made or fitted.

Is it painful to get veneers?2023-09-05T15:14:09+10:00

The process of getting veneers is typically painless, with most patients only experiencing some slight pressure during the procedure. Our procedures are typically conducted under local anaesthetic to ensure the process is comfortable and pain-free.

Will I need gum recontouring (gum lift)?2023-09-05T15:18:47+10:00

In some veneer cases, recontouring the gums (conducting a gum lift) will give a better cosmetic outcome. This is done to create symmetry, improve the ratio of tooth to gum length and lengthen short teeth. Most gum recontouring causes no additional discomfort during or after treatment and the procedure itself is conducted with a highly accurate soft-tissue laser under local anesthesia.

Are veneers suitable for everyone?2023-09-05T15:22:52+10:00

Veneers are a cosmetic treatment that is suitable for adults of all ages. There are, however, some conditions which may render a patient not a suitable candidate for dental veneers, including gum disease, insufficient tooth enamel or severe bruxism. A consultation with one of our cosmetic dentists will enable us to assess your suitability for treatment.

How do I take care of my veneers?2023-09-05T15:26:18+10:00

Maintaining your veneers does not require any additional requirement than your regular oral hygiene maintenance. Good oral health habits include brushing your teeth at least twice a day and flossing once a day to prevent bacteria and plaque build-up. We also advise maintaining a regular schedule of dental checkup & cleans (every six months) to ensure your gums and veneers are kept healthy. With veneers, you will also need to ensure you do not bite down on hard/sticky foods.
