Before The Grove Dental, Dr Britt and Dr Jonathan Hakim spent fourteen years building an award-winning wedding photography studio together — thousands of real smiles, in real light. What they learned behind the camera shapes everything at The Grove Dental.

Dr Britt Hakim brings an artist’s eye to every smile, with a clinical focus on reconstructive work – implants, orthodontics and full-mouth rehabilitation – rebuilding smiles to work, not just to shine; today she leads our clinical team, and every smile makeover at The Grove Dental is designed to the process and standard she’s built, so the artistry and care you’re choosing isn’t one pair of hands but a whole team she has trained to deliver it.

Dr Jonathan Hakim is the other half of the story: a neuroscientist with a PhD in pain and the brain, who spent years researching why we feel pain and fear and teaching head-and-neck anatomy to medical and dental students at the University of Sydney. Dr Jono runs the practice, the experience and the systems behind your care – and that science is exactly why The Grove is built the way it is: calm, unhurried, and designed to take the fear out of the chair, leaving the clinical team free to focus entirely on you.
