Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is dentistry without the drill.
We are excited to offer our patients the latest in soft tissue laser dentistry in Rouse Hill. Laser therapy makes treatment gentler, quicker and safer for our patients. In particular, with laser therapy our patients can enjoy:
What are some of the conditions that laser dentistry can be used for?
- Gummy Smile – Lasers can be used to improve the appearance of your smile, by helping to reshape your gum line and remove excess gum tissue to show more of your teeth (also known as a gingivectomy). Gum recontouring can be completed in a single visit and can complement most of our cosmetic dentistry services to achieve the best aesthetic result.
- Tongue or Lip Ties – Tongue and lip ties can significantly impact infants, toddlers, older children (and even some adults!). In younger children, tongue or lip ties can cause speech delays and severe ties can even inhibit a baby’s ability to latch during breastfeeding. Laser lip and tongue tie correction (also known as frenectomy) is a safe and efficient way to treat this condition. Results are immediate, allowing for more mobility in the lip and tongue for feeding and speech.
- Sensitive teeth – Dental lasers can help seal tubules in tooth roots to reduce the tooth’s sensitivity to hot and cold food and drinks.
- Temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD) – Low-level lasers can help reduce pain and inflammation in the temporomandibular joint and surrounding tissues.
